A post for Grandma
My mom is missing Evalyn (she misses you too).So here are some little video clips for you mom. Sorry it took so long. (I wish I could edit my voice out of these!)
I also noticed Evalyn's hair isn't done in some of the video's and she is sporting what Dave calls "Brigham hair".

Tribute to a friend
My post today is a little out of the ordinary. I have already written about our crazy month of may, but in the chaos I really blew it. May 2nd was an important day, and as it passed I became more and more embarrassed that I had overlooked it. I have been putting this off for long enough. I would like to say a huge HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to an amazing friend. I have a birthday card I never mailed, but I think I will just let you (AMY) and everyone else know what a flake I am.(I might as well embarrass myself publicly) Amy and I met when we were roommates up at BYU-I. Our apartment really hit it off, and we had such a blast. As soon as Amy and I started hanging out I realized I had met a friend for life. She is so kind-hearted and caring. She was always sensitive to others feelings. I can honestly say I have never heard her say a negative thing about anyone, that's just the kind of person she is. So here's to you Amy, and the "spooners" dodge ball team, and Cierra, and "My milkshake...",oh and "You don't own me". Your friendship has always meant so much to me and I hope we can continue to stay in touch, even though the miles between us are long.

Family Outing
Last Saturday Dave decided to take us on a little drive and we ended up in Wasatch State Park. It is so beautiful and so close to our home. The park has a ton of campsites and the upper and lower Provo river. While we were driving Dave hit the brakes and right beside us was a moose! (We took a pic) We continued to drive and saw a sign that said Provo Falls, so we went exploring. They are so beautiful. So here are some pictures of our random family outing.

Short little video
I keep telling my mom I will post a short video (sorry mom, this is REAL short) Evalyn is just winding down for the day and as you can tell from the video, we just took a bow out of her hair. Thanks again to all of our family who came in May, we started to get a little spoiled and now we are going though withdrawals. Hope all is well, we love you and look forward to the next time we will see each other.

We are almost updated....
Well, I have posted a ton today and I think we are pretty close to updated. Here are some recent pictures of Evalyn. The first one is Evie with her favorite toy. She loves this little frog, it was a gift from my cousins Tawnya, Danielle and my aunt Janet. There is also a picture of Evie in her nike outfit, all ready for a jog with mom.
We are finally doing something with Evalyns crazy hair. At 3 months old she is wearing pigtails, but the truth is we could have started doing this much much earlier.

The Best Kind of CRAZY
Wow, time goes by so quickly! The past month or so has been super crazy, but it has also been the best few weeks ever. We were blessed to have family visiting to celebrate some exciting events. First Nana(Dave's mom) and Carie came for a visit the end of April to meet Evalyn. Carie brought Mckay and took some great pictures of Mckay and Evalyn together. Then May 9th it was off to Washington for my brother Jordan's farewell. We were able to see most of our family there. My parents also held an open house event for Jordan and there was about 70+ people (Poor Evalyn didnt know what to think). A few days after we returned home our family followed us out to Utah for Evalyn's baby blessing. We were so grateful because Nana was also able to come out again. After the blessing we had friends and family over. Three days later it was time to take Jordan to the MTC in Provo. Evalyn and I were able to attend the program there with our family. What a neat experience! I am so proud of my little brother and miss him already. He is truly one of my best friends.So... here are some pictures of all the events!
