So Dave and I are not quite sure what was going on here. Evalyn had been asleep for quite some time in her boppy while Dave and I were eating dinner when she suddenly raised her arm and held her hand out to us-still asleep of course. I quickly realized this was her way of reminding us we were her slaves. (At least that is how it feels in the middle of the night) Dave tried lowering her hand but it wouldn't budge. She was like this for at least a minute.

Thank Goodness for Mothers
I wanted to publicly thank my mom for her love and much needed support. She flew in to Salt Lake City a little earlier than planned because I was having contractions 10 min apart and we all thought that Evalyn was on her way. Well, six days later she was! In the meantime I was laboring at home and I cannot express how thankful I am that she was there with me, I get emotional every time I think about it. I did not get a wink of sleep that whole week and she didn't get much either; in fact she was up with me all of Thursday night, recording the time of my contractions (6 min apart, 7 min, 8, 4, etc.)rubbing my back and reminding me to breathe so I could get through one more. So, THANK YOU MOM- WE LOVE YOU!!! - love,: CARISSA AND EVALYN. OH, AND DAVE (who wouldn't have had any sleep unless you were there with me:))

Baby Changing Table

Daves "I could make that" attitude is really coming in handy. I was so excited when he offered to make a changing table(instead of buying one of course). He is enjoying making it and I think it will be really special once it is finished. He just has to add the shelves and hopefully we will have it in her room by tonight!

The waiting game...39 weeks & 4 days!
Family Pugmire
Our family is about to grow, and we know once she is born we will actually have some pictures worth looking at. So here is the family Pugmire blog. We are so excited to share this upcoming miracle with all of our families. Love you all! Dave and Carissa
